Upload a Project or P6 file with your project information.
In ProPlanner you can load the Gantt Chart of your project, previously created in MS Project or Primavera P6. If it is the first time that you upload a file to the Master Plan of the selected stage in your project, the steps to upload it are the following:
- Select the Import Gantt Chart option.
Then select Import to start the process. - Mark if the file corresponds to Project or P6. When performing this action, a window will open that will allow you to search for the file to upload among your documents.
- Once the upload is complete, you will be able to view the information contained in the file, such as the number of lines created, calendars, progress, work, costs and resources. As you progress through the review of each point (with the next button ), they will be marked as reviewed .
- If your file has created resources, you can classify them accordingly in Material, Equipment or Labor.
- Next, you must select which elements of the file you want to load into ProPlanner. The selected elements will be highlighted in orange color .
- Finally, you select Import , wait for it to load and voila! your Gantt chart has already been imported with the information you selected.
