How to Create Roadblocks?

Detect in time the Roadblocks that may affect the execution of your tasks.

In the Lookahead, you can add Roadblocks to the tasks you want, whether the Roadblock affects only one task or several.

  • Enter Roadblock for a task: You must click on the safety-cone  "Roadblocks" button next to the name of the task, this will open a window in which you must select the corresponding type of Roadblock and then enter its details, as well as assigning the Roadblock to a user.

  • Enter Roadblocks for several tasks: You must select all the corresponding tasks and then, from the Bulk Edit bar, click on the "Roadblocks" button, select the type of Roadblock and then enter its detail.

In the detail of the Roadblock, whether it is for one or several tasks, you must complete the required fields:

  • Detail: You must enter the name of the restriction, describing what it consists of.
  • Responsible: The person in charge of releasing the restriction must be selected.
  • Required/Commitment Date: There are two types of dates when creating a constraint. The Required Date is used when there is no clarity and a tentative date is entered to later review the Roadblock. The Commitment Date is used when the deadline on which the restriction must be released is already clear.
  • Selected Date: You can navigate through the calendar to select the corresponding date.
  • Create: Finally, by clicking on "Create" the restriction is created for the task(s) involved.
