Lookahead Timeline View

Forget the tables! View the tasks in your Lookahead Plan distributed across a timeline.

In the Timeline View, the tasks are represented as bars sequenced along a timeline for easy visualization of the start and end dates of your tasks. The Master Schedule Activities are visualized as Summary Bars in order to help plan your tasks within the timeframe of the activity. 

In Timeline View you can:

  • Add new tasks for an activity by clicking the "+" button for each of these. This way you will be able to better detail and plan your tasks.


  • Edit Task Information such as Name, Start date, Duration, Responsible, Company, and Lean status. To make edits, you just have to click on the field to modify and enter the corresponding information. Remember that you can activate or deactivate the columns you want.   • Change the Zoom Level of the bar chart by choosing one of the following timescales - 
    •  Hours
    • Days
    • Weeks
    • Months

  • Change the color of the bars in the diagram to differentiate the tasks. The bars will be shown in the corresponding color according to:
    • Status
    • Lean Status
    • Companies
    • Tags
